New Delhi, September 15, 2024 — Urban Infra Group is honored to announce that Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of GatiShakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara, has accepted our invitation to be the Chief Guest for the 4th Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2024 and the 2nd RailTrans Expo 2024. These prestigious events will be held on October 15-16, 2024, at Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri West, New Delhi.

Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, who currently serves as the First Vice Chancellor of GatiShakti Vishwavidyalaya under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, will share his valuable insights on the topic "Viksit Bharat 2047: The Constructive Role of Railways, Transportation, and Urban Infrastructure in Shaping India." His address will provide a forward-looking perspective on how these sectors can drive India’s development goals and contribute to the vision of a developed India by 2047.
With a rich academic and industry background, Prof. Choudhary brings a wealth of knowledge to the summit. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and a B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur. He is also a Professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur and has held leadership roles in top technology companies, including Samsung R&D Center, where he spearheaded the development of groundbreaking technologies such as the world's first 5G chip and 108 Megapixel camera for mobile phones.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Prof. Choudhary actively contributes to national missions. He is a member of the 5G and 6G Task Force (Department of Telecom, Government of India), serves as Finance Committee Chairman at the Semiconductor Laboratory SCL (Ministry of Electronics & IT), and is an Independent Director on the board of Jodhpur Discom (Electricity/Energy Department). His accolades include the "University Gold Medal," "Young Achiever Award," and "Patent of the Year Award."
