TuTr Hyperloop to unveil future of ultra-speed Hyperloop technology at RailTrans Expo 2024

New Delhi, September 15, 2024 — Urban Infra Group is excited to announce that Hyperloop technology will be a key highlight at the 2nd RailTrans Expo 2024, part of the 4th Urban Infra Business Summit & Awards 2024. The event is set to take place on October 15-16, 2024, at Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri West, New Delhi. TuTr Hyperloop has accepted our invitation to present a significant session on "Viksit Bharat 2024 - The Constructive Role of Hyperloop Transportation Systems in Shaping India."

Mr. Aditya Khakse, Business Lead at TuTr Hyperloop, will deliver an engaging presentation on the advancements in Hyperloop technology and its future potential in India. Mr. Khakse is passionate about building innovative solutions from the ground up and is currently spearheading Hyperloop technology development at IIT Madras. His career has been marked by a blend of hands-on project management, creative problem-solving, and strategic leadership.

Khakse is presently managing the Business Development Vertical of the Hyperloop Team at IIT Madras, a leading a dynamic team in developing Asia's first full tech stack pod and approximately 450 meters of sub-scale Hyperloop tube infrastructure. He is collaborating closely with Indian Railways and industry partners under the guidance of seasoned industry leaders.

About TuTr Hyperloop

TuTr Hyperloop Private Limited, an innovative startup incubated at IIT Madras, is at the forefront of developing ultra-high-speed ground transportation systems. The company designs vehicles that travel in reduced-pressure environments, addressing passenger, cargo, and other transportation needs.

Currently, India’s and Asia’s first Hyperloop test track is being constructed at IIT Madras' Discovery Campus in Thaiyur, facilitated by L&T Construction and supported by ArcelorMittal and Indian Railways. TuTr Hyperloop aims to leverage its partnerships and its proximity to India’s largest deep tech ecosystem to advance affordable Hyperloop technologies. The company’s initial goal is to enhance goods movement and improve industry efficiency, boosting overall productivity.

Prototype Highlights

The prototype, named Garuda Vahaan, draws inspiration from the mythical falcon, symbolizing speed and power. It features a maximum speed capability of 150 km/h and a standard 650V power train. The magnetic levitation vehicle weighs 1.2 tons and is equipped with pneumatic brakes and a hydraulic emergency brake. Its aerodynamic shell design, inspired by the falcon, has been optimized using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to reduce drag.

"We are thrilled to feature TuTr Hyperloop and their groundbreaking technology at the 2nd RailTrans Expo 2024," said Mrs. Mamta Shah, MD & CEO of Urban Infra Group. "Hyperloop technology represents the future of high-speed transportation, and Mr. Khakse’s presentation will offer valuable insights into how this innovative system can significantly impact India’s infrastructure and transportation landscape."

Urban Infra Group invites all enthusiasts of Hyperloop technology and new innovations to register for this insightful session. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about the advancements in Hyperloop technology and its potential to transform transportation in India.

Urban Infra Group looks forward to welcoming industry leaders and technology aficionados to experience the future of transportation at these pivotal events.
