Mr. Varun Pandya is an enterprising infrastructure leader with over 18 years of experience in end-to-end project planning and execution across sectors such as Railways, Airports, Substations, Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Wastewater. He currently serves as Assistant General Manager – Business Development at Tata Projects Limited, where he plays a key role in driving strategic growth in large-scale infrastructure projects.
Mr. Pandya’s career is highlighted by a series of high-impact project completions, including the A08 Airside Works for IGIA, Terminal 3, New Delhi for DIAL, and the first EPC Railway Electrification project from Mathura–Achnera and Idgah–Bharatpur, completed ahead of schedule and awarded an early completion bonus by the Central Organisation of Railway Electrification.
He also led the successful delivery of railway electrification works spanning 410 TKM—covering Bhojipura–Kathgodam, Rampur–Lalkuan–Kashipur, and Moradabad–Ramnagar—for IRCON International Limited. The project included traction substations, switching stations, and civil building works and was completed in a record 14 months, earning an official appreciation letter from IRCON.
With experience in executing over 2,500 TKM of electrification projects, Mr. Pandya has implemented mechanization and digitalization strategies to gain sustainable competitive advantage for the Railway Business Unit. His leadership is marked by strategic foresight, operational efficiency, and a deep understanding of evolving infrastructure needs.
Early in his career, he was awarded First Rank in a National-Level Project Presentation Competition for demonstrating a working model of “Electric Engine, Security System & Auto Operation of Level Crossing Gates,” a recognition presented by Dr. Shiv Prasad Kosta.
