Mr. Satyaki Bhattacharyya has over 22 years of diverse professional experience in design, supervision and management of interfaces in Civil and Track related matters. He is actively involved in design and construction of Rail based transport since 2004. Presently leading a team of Track and Infrastructure Designers as Head of International Design: Rail Systems & Track in DB Engineering and Consulting GmbH, he is entrusted delivering design and performing design validation for prestigious projects globally.
Satyaki is a Graduate Civil Engineer from Jadavpur University and is accredited Fellow of I.P.W.E. (India).
His past publications include:
- Papers on Innovations and Net-Zero Vision and presented in IABSE Congress Delhi
- Conceptualization of Nairobi MRTS: Published in CIC 2023, Qatar University
- Rapid Urbanisation in India: published in View Point- June 2017 (Consulting Engineers Association of India)
- Paper on Track Transition presented in IABSE Congress Nanjing
In past, he has designed and supported execution of various Railway based projects, including LRT (Jakarta, Mauritius, Tel Aviv), MRT (Dhaka Metro, Jakarta Metro, Metro Projects in India like in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Lucknow, Kanpur, Surat and Ahmedabad), Dedicated Freight Corridor in India, High and Semi High-Speed Railway Systems (in India and Abroad like Rail Baltica) and Speed Enhancement of operational corridor. Mr. Satyaki has developed design of new and remodeling existing Yards & train depots, as well as prepared Master Plan & Detailed Project Report for MRTS system. He is also actively involved in Design and Design Validation of Ballastless Track Structures.
