Mr. Anshul Gupta, Advisor - RailTel Corporation

Anshul Gupta did Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Sciences (Artificial Intelligence being specialization), from India’s leading institute of Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore. He has also done Post Graduate course in public Policy on Integrated Multi Modal Transport System from MDI, Gurgaon and George Mason University, Virginia.

He has worked for 37 years with Indian Railways. He did pioneer works in the area of Modernization of Railway Signalling and Telecom Systems, In fact he is the pioneer for Digitalization of Train Control and Command Systems of Indian Railways specially Kavach, Intrusion Detection System, OT Cyber Security and also pursued reintroduction of BLT in Tunnels etc.

He was instrumental in expediting construction of national project of state Capital connectivity in NE states during his tenure as General Manager NF Railway, wherein during his tenure as GM Open Line as ell as GM Con h was instrumental in changing constn practices enabling faster execution of nearly 300 Rkms of railway lines in the most difficult terrains of India, and additionally survey of new lines upto Tawang, Nathula etc and Development and Adoption of AI/ ML powered Fault Diagnostics, Predictive Maintenance and Digital Twin system on Indian Railways. He is now working on creating Cyber Secured and Quantum network for strategic areas on Indian Railways.

In India he is also the Secretary of Institution of Railway Signal Engineers, working in the field of competence and skill development of youth in the area of modern control and command Signalling & safety systems.
