What Makes RailTrans Expo Unique

Unlike traditional industry exhibitions that focus primarily on scale or sector-specific developments, RailTrans Expo stands out as the only event that brings together the entire transportation ecosystem under one roof—from urban metro systems and high-speed rail to logistics, tourism, and last-mile mobility.

Here, innovation is the primary benchmark, not the size of the company. Start-ups and MSMEs are given the same opportunity to showcase their ideas alongside established giants, ensuring an all-inclusive platform that drives equitable growth. The event fosters a solutions-first approach, championing fresh thinking that can transform mobility both within India and globally.

Shri Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India has emphasized the transformative role of infrastructure and mobility in nation-building, stating:

“Viksit Bharat 2047 is not just a vision; it is a roadmap for transforming every aspect of our economy and society. The mobility sector will play a central role in this journey, not only connecting people and places but also accelerating trade, tourism, and technological innovation.”

He has also remarked on India’s contribution to the global mobility ecosystem:

“India’s advancements in railways, metro networks, and integrated transport systems are setting benchmarks for the world. Our innovations will not only shape our nation’s future but also contribute to building more connected, sustainable, and prosperous societies worldwide.”

The mobility systems are playing a crucial role in transforming India's transportation landscape, addressing challenges like congestion and pollution while enhancing convenience and sustainability. These systems, including electric vehicles, ride-sharing, MaaS, and smart infrastructure, aim to create a more efficient, eco-friendly, and accessible transportation ecosystem.
"The journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047 will be defined by ideas, innovations, and collaborations that break traditional boundaries. RailTrans Expo is a celebration of that spirit—where mobility is seen not just as infrastructure, but as a driver of cultural, social, and economic transformation. In 2026, we look forward to hosting the world’s best minds and solutions at Bharat Mandapam, creating a legacy of progress for generations to come," said Mrs. Mamta Shah, MD & CEO, Urban Infra Group.

"India’s railway transformation is not just about speed and efficiency—it is about connecting aspirations. Initiatives like RailTrans Expo help bridge the gap between policy vision and on-ground innovation by bringing together the brightest minds from across the globe. This platform will be crucial in realising our Viksit Bharat 2047 ambitions," said Ashwani Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.

"The success of the 2025 edition has shown us the immense appetite for dialogue and innovation in India’s mobility sector. The 2026 RailTrans Expo will not only build on that energy but expand the conversation to a global stage, enabling cross-border collaborations that will transform the way the world thinks about transportation. Our aim is to inspire, connect, and catalyze action for a more connected and sustainable future,"
commented Dr. Vinod Shah, Chief Operating Officer, Urban Infra Group.
