IIT Madras-Based TuTr Hyperloop to showcase Hyperloop Innovation at 5th RailTrans Expo 2025

New Delhi, India (May 14, 2025): Urban Infra Group is pleased to announce that TuTr Hyperloop, a deep-tech startup incubated at IIT Madras and at the forefront of developing ultra-high-speed transportation, will participate in the 5th RailTrans Expo 2025 scheduled to take place on 26th & 27th June 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. TuTr Hyperloop will present its latest advancements in hyperloop technology and contribute to discussions on the future of mobility in India.

Mr. Aditya Khakse, Head of Business Development from TuTr Hyperloop, will deliver a presentation on "The Roadmap of India's Future Mobility with Hyperloop Technology." This presentation will provide insights into the potential of hyperloop systems to transform India's transportation landscape, offering a sustainable, efficient, and high-speed alternative to traditional modes of travel.

TuTr Hyperloop will showcase its modal pod, a key component of its hyperloop system, at the Expo. This will offer attendees a unique opportunity to witness the cutting-edge technology that promises to revolutionize passenger and cargo transportation.

India's Hyperloop Progress:

  • The Ministry of Railways has plans to set up a 40-kilometer hyperloop project, signaling the nation's commitment to embracing this futuristic transportation solution.
  • IIT Madras is playing a crucial role in advancing hyperloop technology in India. Recent developments include the creation of a 410-meter hyperloop test tube, currently the longest in Asia, with plans to expand it further.
  • TuTr Hyperloop, incubated at IIT Madras, is working closely with Indian Railways to develop and deploy hyperloop technology.
  • The Indian Railways is also collaborating with IIT Madras to develop vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicles, demonstrating a holistic approach to future mobility solutions.
