GatiShakti University

GatiShakti University, formerly known as National Rail & Transport Institute (NRTI) is focused on developing global and national partnerships with top universities and organizations from across the world. This will enable access to the latest pedagogy and program design, prevailing transportation related domain knowledge, innovations and research developments. The university has adopted an interdisciplinary approach for research of transport systems—it is bringing together academicians, scientists and engineers from various backgrounds, with a plan to leverage its academic and industry partnerships and collaborations.

National Academy of Indian Railways

National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR)—erstwhile Railway Staff College, originally started in the year 1925 as a Transportation School, is the apex training institute of Indian Railways (IR). The Academy has been operating from the Pratap Vilas Palace situated in Vadodara city, the cultural capital of Gujarat state, since 31st January 1952. Every year, the Academy provide training to Probationary Officers of all the organized services of Indian Railways. Besides, various Management, Capacity building and functional programs are organised to train Railway officers in different stages of their career, the Academy also organizes customized training programs for non-Railway personnel like Executives of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Foreign Nationals and Private organisations.

Institute of Urban Transport (IUT)

The Institute of Urban Transport India (IUT) was established in May, 1997 as a professional body under the purview of the Ministry of Urban Development Government of India (MOUD) as a premier professional non-profit making organization and registered under the Societies Registration Act. The objective of the Institute is to promote, encourage and coordinate the state of the art of urban transport including planning, development, operation, education, research and management. The membership of the Institute comprises Academicians, Architects, Economists, Engineers, Transport Planners, Town Planners and professionals from various disciplines

Indian Metro Rail Organisations' Society (i-Metro)

With the increase in the number of rail-based MRTS in India a need for a body is felt which could bring together these organizations whether it is involved in creation, operation and maintenance of Metro Rail, Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) or Mono Rail systems. The Indian Metro Rail Organisations' Society (i-Metro) was formed on 18th July 2018 to provide a platform where members can share their learnings and experiences with each other in secured environment and thus promote mutual cooperation among them. I-Metro will help to create a resource of information which could be relied upon as a tool for efficient decision making in rail based public transport systems in India. The society also help its member to maintain an effective liaison and coordination with all the Government and non-government stake holders.
